Regular Verbs
Regular verbs have -ed at the end of the simple past and past participle forms: base verb + -ed.

Irregular Verbs
Unlike regular verbs, irregular verbs do not follow a specific pattern. For this reason, they need to be memorised. There are hundreds of irregular verbs in English, so these are only a few examples:
